I'm Jean, and I believe that healing chronic pain requires looking beyond symptoms to understand the complete picture of how our minds and bodies interact. After years of working with clients experiencing persistent pain, I've seen firsthand how transformative it can be when we address not just the physical sensations, but the underlying patterns that keep pain alive.
My approach draws from multiple evidence-based therapies, weaving them together to create something uniquely tailored to your experience. This isn't about choosing between conventional medicine and alternative approaches—it's about understanding that pain is complex and deserves a comprehensive response.
My Training and Expertise
I'm certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), a groundbreaking approach that helps retrain how your brain processes pain signals. Building on this foundation, I'm SIRPA Level 2 trained and currently pursuing Level 3 certification, deepening my understanding of psychophysiological disorders and mind-body medicine.
My Postgraduate Diploma in Psychoanalytic Studies allows me to explore how past experiences and unconscious patterns might be shaping your current pain experience. Sometimes what we carry from our history—unresolved emotions, learned responses, or protective mechanisms—can influence how our nervous system responds to threat, including the creation of pain.
Through my Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and Mind Therapies, plus certification in Hypno-EMDR, I can help you access your uncounscious resources for healing. These approaches work with your brain's natural capacity for change, helping to rewire limiting beliefs and release stored trauma that may be contributing to your pain cycle.
As a qualified Yoga Therapist, I integrate breathwork, mindful movement, and somatic awareness to help regulate your nervous system. This isn't about perfect poses—it's about building a compassionate relationship with your body and learning to move in ways that feel safe and supportive.
